Hill House Policies

To ensure our guests face no surprises when they arrive, we ask that you please read through this page for information about check-in / check-out times, rates, cancellations, and more.
Cancellation Policy: This Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation less a $35 processing fee per room. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days’ notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

Deposit: A full 100% Deposit is required at time of booking.

Rates and Taxes: Subject to a 6% state sales tax, 1.5% transient room tax. *Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

Accepted Payments: MasterCard, Visa, Discover – sorry – No AMEX

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Smoking: Absolutely No Smoking Inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card for anyone smoking inside – No Exceptions-.

Candles, Incense, Fireworks: Due to the historic integrity of our home, we do not allow burning of any candles, incense, fireworks in the rooms or grounds for the safety and comfort of our guests.

Children and Pets: Children under 21 and pets are not allowed.

Damages, Stolen or Broken Items: Occurring during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file.

Firearms or any other weapons: Prohibited from being in the Hill House B&B. Please keep them secured in your vehicle.

Room Keys: Failure to return or lost guest room keys will result in a $25 fee.

Items left behind: We will gladly return lost items, but guest will incur a shipping cost.

Right to refuse service: Disorderly conduct, disrespect to guests and/ or owners, intentional damage or non-compliance with our policies will result in guests being dismissed from the property.

Waiver of Liability: Owners / Innkeepers will not be held liable for accidents or injury to guests or loss of money or valuables.

I, as the customer(s)/guest(s), agree to respect The Hill House B&B’s owners, employees, property and other guests AND pay for all charges related to my stay. By submitting a deposit or providing a credit card number to hold or confirm my reservation I am agreeing to The Hill House B&B policy and payment requirements.
